JOB POSTING: BEAR CREEK CAMP- EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Bear Creek Camp (BCC) seeks a full-time leader for the position of Executive Director.
The camp has undergone a strategic refocus over the past year and is poised for an exciting future. This ACA accredited camp is located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania and boasts 3000 acres.
The successful candidate will be a visionary and passionate leader with complimentary ability to execute plans. The ability to inspire and motivate others and bringing a positive, action-oriented energy to the camp is essential. Strong communication and staff management skills are key. The candidate must have a working understanding of Lutheran theology in an outdoor ministry setting. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, three years in staff management, and three years experience developing and directing faith based youth or outdoor education programs.
